Here is where I can tell you all you ever wanted to know about Snapper. I have been taking photos ever since my parents bought me my first camera in about 1980. I bought my first SLR Camera in 1984 and started understand more about taking pictures. In July 1986 my brother took me along to Blantyre 2 to see the Tigers for the first time, I think it was a match against Poole, and I was hooked. It was only natural to start taking my camera to the Speedway. Thanks to Ian Steel I started taking photos from the centre green and in 1998 I then became the Track Photographer at Glasgow, thanks to Brian Sands.
My Cameras: This year I will be using a Canon EOS 20D digital camera, a 70mm-200mm F2.8L IS USM zoom lens a 70mm-300mm F4.0 USM Zoom lens, 18mm-55mm EFS lens, Canon 420EX Speedlite Flash and SanDisk Ultra 2 memory cards. I also have a Canon EOS 5 film camera as back up.
Over the years I have supplied Speedway photographs to the Speedway Star, Daily Record, The Scottish Sun, The Sunday Post and the Evening Times. I have also worked at many major sporting events in Scotland and enclosed are some of my other snaps.
